This role places strong emphasis on system architecture, API development, performance optimization, and technical leadership. The selected candidate will function as a core technical contributor embedded within a broader engineering team.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, secure microservices using .NET 8+
- Develop high-performance RESTful APIs to support system integration
- Re-architect and optimize SQL Server data models and queries
- Lead complex debugging, code reviews, and technical mentorship
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and cloud integration (Azure/AWS)
- Collaborate within an Agile/Scrum environment (standups, sprint planning, reviews)
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience with .NET, C#, ASP.NET Core, and SQL Server
- Proven expertise in application architecture and performance optimization
- Strong experience with REST API design and microservices architecture
- Familiarity with cloud-native development and DevOps practices
- Experience with CI/CD tools, Git, and Azure DevOps (or similar)
- Prior experience working in a staff augmentation or embedded team model
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Must possess or be eligible for U.S. government security clearance
