Client OpportunityPay Rate: $50 – $70/hour
We are partnering with a federal client to bring on a Microsoft Power Platform Developer who can contribute to building and enhancing enterprise applications in a collaborative agile environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, working across the full development lifecycle, and leveraging both traditional coding and low-code platforms to deliver scalable solutions.
What You’ll Do
- Work closely with product owners, architects, and QA teams to turn business needs into functional applications.
- Design and develop solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse.
- Customize and extend platform capabilities through integrations, APIs, and supporting code where needed.
- Contribute to sprint planning, estimation, and delivery of features in an agile setting.
- Validate application performance through testing, debugging, and continuous improvement efforts.
- Investigate and resolve technical issues, ensuring minimal disruption and long-term stability.
- Produce clear technical documentation and support knowledge sharing across the team.
- Help maintain application security, data integrity, and alignment with compliance requirements.
What You Bring
- Required Certification: Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate (PL-400 or higher)
- Experience developing applications using object-oriented programming (Java, C#, C++), with solid hands-on work in Java.
- Background working with low-code platforms (such as Appian, Salesforce, or ServiceNow), with direct Microsoft Power Platform experience strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of relational databases and data structures.
- Experience designing data models and working with both standard and custom entities.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies like JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience working with APIs and data exchange formats such as REST, JSON, XML, or SOAP.
- Proven ability to operate effectively within agile teams and contribute across development, testing, and delivery.
- Experience using Git or similar tools for version control and collaborative development.
- Hands-on experience deploying or supporting Power Platform solutions in production environments.
Location
Remote role; however, candidates must be based in one of the following states due to employment requirements: Washington, Florida, Illinois, Massachusetts, Minnesota, South Carolina, or Texas.
